Summer League – Fixtures and request for Poole players

The 1st match of the Summer league is on Wednesday 29/6 starting at 7.30pm vs Ringwood at the Fish Inn, Ringwood.

Ringwood are fielding 7/8 players of mixed strength with Martin Clancey on top board. The fixture has been moved from the Monday 27/6 to accommodate the 4NCL weekend hoping that some of our high graded players will come along and play.

All players at Poole are welcome to play in this non graded social event with the hope weather allowing can be played outside and if not inside.

This is a good opportunity to meet, play chess and have a good social event so hope we will have a good turn out.

Please let me know asap if you wish to play so we can organise a team sooner rather than later.

The next fixtures are at home on the 11/7 vs Highcliffe and 25/7 vs Southbourne (Monday evenings) and I plan to find a venue/pub that can possibly host these evenings. If anyone has any ideas for a suitable pub please let me know.
