Steve Bailey – Double Champion

A deservingly ‘Very Well Done” mention to our own Steve Bailey,(shaddowb33) who has just completed the double over fellow 110 and below graded players in the Dorset leagues.

A quote from Phil Holden who arranged the tournaments:-

“Just to let you know Steve Bailey won the first two quite convincingly and we now fear playing him. Please pass on my congratulations to Steve”

Steve has been spent a lot of time during this lockdown improving his game and it appears to have paid off Big Time. He’s not wearing a cap, baggy trousers, big pocketed jackets and doesn’t leave the room, just plays good chess!
