After losing the title in the last game of the 2017-18 season, Poole A (playing in the Dorset League, 1st division) started this season with high hopes.  Unfortunately, the first game in 2018-19 didn’t go as planned. Despite out-grading our opponents on every board, their win was totally deserved.  Let’s hope we’ll be back to last year’s form before too long!
