Poole Win Second Online (Lichess) Event

Well done to our Poole team that won the 2nd online team event organised by Ringwood club (Martin Clancy) when 54 players took part last night.

Primary contribution came from Oscar/Richard/David and Mike, with points also scored by John/Jamie and Simon. We won the event by 17 points and have become the team to beat in this event. David especially had a good time by achieving a rating of 2412 on the evening!

The general rating was 1800+ so the standard was very high and  at least 1st/2nd Division standard but all points count so players with the lower end are still important.

Thanks to all for playing and making it hard for the competition whom we know will came back next time with even more challenges.
