A new season, a new division, new motivation for Poole B to prove that they are good enough to stay up in the top division playing against “the big boys”
Also, the first official game for Poole to our new “signing”, John, who finished his game in a well deserved draw.
Chip play the beginning of the Black Lion openning according to Dave, the end game was a bit edgy, with pawns and Knights on board, a draw was a fair result.
Sergio beat Russell Pegg, who’s last season’s rating was 190, great result for Sergio and for the team. I won’t mention the fact that Sergio was 5 min late again, keeping his captain a bit nervous.
The game was 2-1 for us, with Toby playing a young but very strong player, the game looked even, unfortunately Toby lost on time, so the game finished 2-2.
