Mike Duggan wins the CC and Summer league match next week

Congratulations to Mike Duggan who beat Chip in the Club Championship Final on Monday night. Chip said the game was very close as you would expect but Mike just had enough to pull through and win.

We are just waiting now for Andy Matko to play Kyzrzstof in the Final of the Intermediate section which I believe is scheduled for the 1st week of July to complete the 3 sections of this year’s CC competition.

SUMMER LEAGUE MATCH vs RINGWOOD, Fish Inn, Ringwood – 29/6.

Ringwood have 7/8 players lined up, we have 4 at the moment so can I request you to let me know asap if you can support the club in the match next week. It is ungraded and all players are welcome and to remind you its a chess/social event to keep chess going through the summer.

There seemed to be an interest in us joining the competition at the time of entering so I am hoping we can at least get a team together.
