Don was a real gentlemen and a real stalwart of the various forms of the current Poole Chess club over 5/6 decades. During those years he played many games in the various leagues for us and always supported the club. His last game was in the 18/19 season, not long ago.

I am sure several of our members will remember him fondly and with great respect, he will be missed.
