Club News and the games are coming fast now
Just to follow up on Graham’s notice last week, the club is always open on Thursday evenings as usual for all league and friendly games. Remember our club is for you the members and visitors and is truly dependant on an active and lively club so please come and support the club whenever you can.
Moving on, last week both our A and B teams both had to field under strength teams and lost respectively Both teams and players gave all and were a credit – A team 3.5./0.5 at Southbourne on Friday night and our B team last Monday at Ringwood 2.5/1. We are clearly suffering from shared teams in the top league now which is evident. Thanks to Tarik/Simon Patterson/Adam and Kyrzstoff for standing in.
On a positive note our E team had an excellent win 3-1 at Southbourne on Friday night and are proudly 3 points clear with 3 games to go in Division 5, well done and possibly a report to follow.
Tonight, our Bishops (Junior) team are at Highcliffe in the Bacchus league followed by a home game against our Rooks on Thursday night.
Our Handicap semi-final will be played this Thursday against Weymouth, and of course we wish all our teams best of luck and enjoy your games.
