Chess clinic at the club on 8th August, 2019

John (Weatherlake) and Mike (Duggan) have kindly offered to give a chess clinic at the club on the 8/8/19 starting at 7.30pm.

This will be open to all junior and club members and it would be good to see a good turnout for this occasion.

It will be held on the 1st floor room of the club and will be shown on a large demonstration board .  John/Mike will provide analysis of pawn structures/middle games and other aspects that we can contribute towards. We hope this will be an inter-active session for the benefit of all.

As we know chess in infinite and we all make mistakes some of which are obvious upon analysis and other not so. We don’t always get help from higher graded players and so its a good opportunity to come along on this evening.

The timing of the session is to be agreed but it likely to finish before 9.30pm.

I hope to see you there on the 8/8 for an enjoyable evening.
