Another busy week for Poole chess players

With the success of the F & Dorset league A team (Match details)) to follow shortly ) in last week’s matches we have another busy week with 3 teams in action.

The E team  match  vs Wimborne D has been postponed but the C team  are playing @ Ringwood tonight. Our Handicap semi final team has been selected for the match @ Dorchester  (6) boards & our D team are scheduled to play @ Southbourne on Friday night.

We are getting to the business end of the season with most teams having 3/4 matches to play in terms of league positions theses results are crucial.

Yesterday @ the Rapidplay in Ringwood John Weatherlake scored 5/6 to equal 1st prize-well done John and to continue Oscar’s success of last year.  Details & pictures to follow .
