Matches coming thick and fast with another 2 matches tonight

The busy period continues after mixed results last week that started well but continued with defeats for the A team on Wednesday night against Southbourne A, the B team against Highcliffe A and also the C team vs New Milton.

Details of these and all matches are on www.dorset chess through the LMS (League Management System) red button screen which provides all for local keen chess players that wish to keep a breast of all chess news and results.

Tonight we start a fresh week with our D team attempting to make it three wins in a row when they take on Highcliffe B with a probable line up of Stephen Chappell/Simon Fox/Adam and  Captain Mike Rutter.

Our E team will try to record their first win at Purbeck with a first team line up of Kyrzstoff/Seth/Tony and Captain Christine.

Good luck to both teams and again refer to the Dorset web site and LMS to be first to get the results.

On Thursday night our Dorset League A team of Mike Duggan/John W/David Fuller and Dragi will also try to get their first points of the season against  Dorchester A, good luck to them.

Whilst I am writing can I remind you we have trying to post games on a weekly basis which we are primarily using for junior chess sessions but they are classic GM games some of which are from teenage GM’s . You may find these games  useful to go through and review. We always encourage all our members to add games and any chess related items to the web site.
