Inter Schools Final – 20/5/19 – Highcliffe vs Poole Grammar School – Elstead Hotel – 4pm

Highcliffe are the proud and present holders of the competition having wrestled it from Bournemouth Grammar school for Boys last year for the first time, they will be giving all to retain the trophy and Poole Grammar school have reached the Final for the 1^st time. They Poole team are made up of year 8 and 10 boys who have all won schools chess events at Baden Powell primary school and will be hoping to be successful in the Final.

The match will be played over 3 rounds for all 6 boards with a time control of 15 minutes per player so 30 minutes per game. It is expected the match to be completed by 6 pm where a prize giving will take place.

All chess enthusiasts and friends are welcome and to remind all that there is car parking at the hotel and there are refreshment facilities.
