The season ends on the 23/5, 9 Poole club matches to go!

With just 2 weeks to go to the end of the season the matches come thick and fast – 9 in total home and away.

Firstly, well done the B team who survived in the 1st Division on Friday night for another season – target achieved and especially congratulations to Chip who held it  all together for 9 months!

This week, our E team play at Wimborne tomorrow night in an important match to  see if we can move us away from the drop zone. The  team is Seth/Krystoff/Ted Paul and Captain Christine – good luck to them.

Also at Wimborne on the same night it is the final match of the season for our Bishops team which is the team primarily from Poole Grammar school. They are trying to secure 2nd place in the Bacchus league and with 3 wins and 2 draws from 7 matches they should stand a decent chance.

On Thursday night, the final match for our Dorset league Division 1 team playing Ringwood –  good luck to them.

We are also hosting a match between Highcliffe and Purbeck at the club which for those that are not aware it is broadly a half way house venue for both the New Forest teams (New Milton & Hichcliffe) and Purbeck (Cofe Castle).

Can we encourage members to come along to the club as there should be enough space to plus friendly games.

See you on Thursday.
