Our teams marching on as we approach the final games of the season.

Another very successful week where out A team beat Southbourne B in a crucial top of the table match, out C team hit the top position in the 3rd Division with a win against Wimborne  C and our E team won a very difficult match against Wimborne D to move into second place in the 4th Division. Congratulations to all.

Next week sees another full programme where our E play their penultimate game of the season against Wimborne F to keep the pressure on the front runners including our D team who play a home match the following night on the 26/4. The D team have games in hand and have a chance of winning the 4th Division, if all goes well.

On Thursday 26/4,  for  our Dorset League A Team, Chip will be leading the A team vs Dorchester B, another tough match but if they can get the points will be 2 points clear of Wimborne A with the final match to play – vs Wimborne A on the 12/5.

Our 6 Board Handicap Team and defending Champions are playing Wimborne on the 23/5 at their home venue, all visitors welcome and the bar is open!

Moving on the Club championship we are approaching the Finals to played in May.

Congratulations to Chip for a hard earned win against Toby last Thursday (hard luck Toby & great efffort) to earn the right to play Mike Duggan in the Final of the Major section.

The Intermediate section Final is between your truly (ENS) and Jorgen Neilson who is away in Denmark for most of May (getting daily lessons and practice) and this match will be played at the beginning of June.

In the Minor section its Adam or Richie whom are progressing  and playing very well vs David Lockwood (well done ) to reach the Final and the winner of Ciaran vs Seth. All I am sure will be exciting and close games.

Well done all whom have played and enjoyed playing in this competition and those that have progressed.

Keep watching the web site for the latest and current information as the club approaches the final stages of the season with a possibility of success across all the leagues and going for all in the various competitions.
